Sensei Ray’s Teachers

I am deeply indebted to a multitude of remarkable individuals. While I have only highlighted a select few and shared glimpses of their impact through pictures, a vast network of teachers has profoundly shaped my journey. I extend eternal gratitude to those whose wisdom, mentorship, and guidance have illuminated my path. Each lesson you imparted has left an indelible mark, and I humbly cherish the knowledge you bestowed upon me.

My teacher Shihan Ben Rudolph, 1976 to present. He is without a doubt one of the finest martial artists. He began before he was 9 years old, in Indonesia at a Shaolin Temple and with locally taught Silat adding Judo, Karate, boxing, Jiu-jitsu and military close quarter combat when he moved to Europe. He is a 3-time Dutch full contact Karate Champion, a 2-time European heavyweight full contact champion, and an All American Black Belt champion winning in California at Ed Parkers tournament.
